Translation of documents for official use: birth and marriage certificates, passports, driving licenses, diplomas, criminal record checks, divorce paperwork (decree absolute, decree nisi), tax returns, etc.
About this service
The translation of documents for official use in the UK typically requires a self-certification signed and stamped by the translator.
Unlike many countries, there isn’t an official listing of ‘certified’ or ‘sworn’ translators in the UK. Instead, the government guidelines require the translation to be performed by a professional linguist and to include a signed declaration.
As a CIOL-accredited translator, I am able to provide you with this service from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, and also from Italian to Portuguese. Just get in touch and send me a copy of your file(s), and I will be back to you with a cost estimate asap.
